ITG is a non-profit association founded in 1976 and recognized as a public benefit entity.

It provides services in various areas of industry, commerce and individuals, being an entity recognized by DGEG as a gas and fuel inspection entity, by IPAC as a product inspection and certification body, and also by DGERT as a training entity.
